Jude handled the trip as best he could. Many pricks, another x-ray, and a sticky bag stuck between his cheeks.... he still managed to give us a smile, what a kid! Thank-you Uncle Thom for filling in for Joel. (We had to explain many times that indeed Thom is an Uncle and not yet a Daddy....)

Trip to the ER
Like father, like son.... Jude is following in his father's footsteps. I should have guessed it, knowing that Joel had been to the ER more than 21 times before his 21st birthday. (He knew many of the nurses by name.) Unfortunately, our trip couldn't be complete without a trip to the ER. Somehow Jude got a bacterial organism called Campylobacter Jejuni. Tough to pronounce and tough on his little system. It took a week to get back to his irregular self.
