Hi-Ho to the Beach We Go

Trying to hold back the tears, we enjoyed our last full day with Grammy. We're so lucky that Grammy was able to visit for about 2 weeks, making the adjustment to life with 2 kids easier. Today we went to Pawtuckaway State Park. For once, Jude was more interested in the playground than he was of the water.....hmmmm, what's that all about?


Just in the last week Jude has been very picky about what he will and what he won't wear. He's been refusing his swimwear. He repeatedly said, "Diaper off!" We didn't have the luxury of having the entire beach to ourselves today....so the diaper stayed on. I think it's a matter of Jude asserting some control into his newly disrupted life.

Snack Time

Finally, Jude showed some more interest in his little brother. It's been a big adjustment....mostly Jude wants to avoid and pretend that Levi isn't around. Yay! for these precious moments.
