Saturday, we were invited for dinner over at our previous neighbors' Dan and Christian's house. Jude was so excited to see Dan and Christian (and play with Christian's cars) that he had a tough time falling asleep at nap time. When he got up we rushed over to Fieldstone Estates. On the way over the river and through the woods Jude was happy to point out all of the Christmas lights. He was thrilled to see that Dan and Christian had a tree up and decorated (unlike his parents who didn't decorate this year...). For dinner, Christian made a delicious pot of chili for the adults and made a special plate of all of Jude's favorites just for him (mac 'n cheese, broccoli, and chicken nuggets). And for dessert.... Christian pulled out all of the stops for Jude. He made a special chocolate pizza covered in M &M's. Jude couldn't be happier (Joel and I weren't complaining either, it was so yummy)!
After dinner, the guys had a surprise for Jude and Levi. All of the presents that Jude had been eying under the tree were for them.
They hit the nail on the head when it came to gifts for Jude. He loves his new Richard Scarry book!
And he loves, loves, loves all of his new cars!
