Power Outage 2010

A trip to Maine was already planned for last weekend. We just had no idea that it was going to be such a long trip. Thursday, we had a storm blow through our area. There were winds of 90+ mph and plenty of flooding rains. We lost our power but managed to stay dry. With minor damage done to our home, we drove up to the Caswell's seeking heat on Friday.





We had planned on going up Thursday...but the weather was iffy. Gemma had to wait one more day to celebrate her birthday. She loves her new American Doll. Auntie Joey, Grampy, and the Hartter's all chipped in to bring her "Emma."
On Saturday, we got to check out Brunswick's library. What a great place! Jude loved playing with the blocks. Sunday, we ate an enormous meal. It felt like a holiday. We're so grateful to be able to spend time with the Caswell's....and even more grateful that they opened up their house to us once again.
