This afternoon Joel and I took Levi for his first visit with Dr. Lamm. The pediatricians like to see new babies within 72 hours of leaving the hospital. Levi got a clean bill of health. He's been busy sleeping, pooping, peeing, and of coarse eating. It's normal for babies to lose a bit of weight before leaving the hospital. Most babies will get back to their birth weight within 2 weeks of life. Like most babies, Levi lost a little weight. He was born 7 lbs. 9 ounces....by the time he left the hospital he was down to 7 lbs. 4 ounces. At his big weigh-in today he was already up to 7 lbs. 13 ounces....way to go big boy!
