Jude Turns 5

 This year Jude was really into planning his own birthday party.  He insisted that he wanted a "just kids" party.  He wanted to invite the boys from our church to his party.  So with Jude and his brother, Joel and I managed to keep all 6 boys entertained for 2 hours.

 In the morning, Jude helped me build some Legos to decorate his cake.... (although they never made it onto the cake, he was too busy playing with them.)

 Joel hung the streamers and ecorated the birthday chair!

Jude insisted that his party must have a pinata...

The game that the boys played was similar to Jude's favorite exhibit at the Children's Museum.  The boys all built their own car to race down the ramp Joel had built.  Each boy won a prize for some aspect of their vehicle.  (Fastest, biggest, sportiest.... you get the idea!)

Aunt Chris and cousin Noah tried to crash the party... Noah had the same idea as AnaLeah (trying to sleep through the party).

 Jude insisted that he wanted both a cake and cupcakes.....

Jude was thrilled to get so many new Legos for his birthday!  He spent 4 hours straight building after all of his friends had left.
