Amazingly, we went almost the entire summer without seeing our cousins from Maine. June and July had come and passed and we were truly beginning to miss the Caswell's. With both of our families taking trips to MI at different times this summer, we finally managed to squeeze in some time to visit toward the middle of August.
After lunch we dashed off to the coast. It didn't take long for the kids to start finding "clues" on the beach. At first it was a bit intimidating to pick up the pinchy crabs, but withing 30 minutes all 4 of the explorers were snatching them up and putting them in their pails.
