A major plus to being in MI for 3 weeks is that we got to spend extra time with our family. Here we are chillaxin' with Grampy on the front porch while grilling some delicious steaks. Yummy... we love his charcoal grillin'.
Even though Jude had been on Grampy's boat last year, this was the first time that he could remember going for a thrill ride. We enjoyed one of Grand Haven's most tasty treats (Fricano's Pizza) out in one of the bayous of Spring Lake.
Jude couldn't be happier while in the boat. He kept telling Grampy to go faster, "Faster Grampy, faster." This gave us the perfect opportunity to teach him about slow no wake zones and buoyes.
Shhhhh... don't tell. Levi wasn't a fan of his life jacket.... he didn't keep it on the whole time. But the highlights of his trips were the slow parts and the times that he got to help Grampy steer the boat.
The first time out on the boat was so much fun that Jude just couldn't wait until Saturday to go back out. Hopefully, in August I will be able to get him on the tube... and I'll be able to resurrect the 'ole ski. It's time to take full advantage of Grampy's ski boat and new boom.
