As of recent, Jude's been getting to be more mobile. Occasionally, he'll attempt to inch forward. Mostly he gets frustrated by moving backward, getting further from his point of interest.

Unexpected Visitor

We were pleasantly surprised when we found out Ellie, a friend of ours from Gainesville, had an interview at University of New Hampshire. It is a small world after all.... and it sure would be great if we could see Ellie, Dave and little Eliza on a more regular basis.

Crinkle Nose

When Jude gets enthusiastic about something he gets a huge grin and blows air out through his nose. Many have said that he and Joel are generating the same smile, they both crinkle their nose.

Snacks

Everyone in position... ready, set, go... Jude gets a tastes of his new crunchy snack. (Jack, again... a nearby participant, so helpful to have somebody on clean-up duty.)

What Happens Next?

Jude is quickly learning how to get Jack's attention. Dinner time is the perfect scenario for this audience. Jack gets treats and Jude gets his best friend.

YMCA

It was our first visit to the YMCA. Jude was a bit apprehensive about the water at first. By the time we got out, he was splashing and smiling with glee as he watched the nearby kids playing.

New Sensation

While catching a few rays, Jude decided that his toys weren't that interesting anymore. He turned around and voila, his first grab at the grass.

8 Months Already

Time flies... 2/3 of a year..... What was life like before baby?

Time with the Fam

Joey came up from D.C. for the weekend. This was cause for us all to gather for some family time. Saturday we were on the coast of New Hampshire, Sunday on the coast of Maine. It's always a pleasure to get to see the kids playing together. Monday, Joey was off to Boston on a fact-finding mission. We're trying to convince her to move up this way to finish school.

A Day at the Office

Who wouldn't like to spend a day playing in their chair with a laptop in their birthday suit?

Uncle Ed and Aunt Gretchen

After taking the red-eye flight cross-country, Ed and Gretchen got a chance to meet Jude for the first time. We managed to fit the New England tour into the 3 day weekend extravaganza. Ticking off Maine on Gretchen's list of states to visit, we found a message in a bottle ashore the banks of York. We had a fabulous time visiting and catching up on some euchre. (Girls took charge both nights....)

New Puppy

Today we got a chance to escape to Target. Jude got to pick out a new toy with his Easter money. Thank-you G & G Hartter... we love our puppy!

What's That Noise?
