April Pools Day

We could hardly believe it when we saw the temperature rise to 94 degrees yesterday. Jude had a great time splashin' in his pool while keepin' cool.

Beating the Heat

Amazingly enough, we're having a bit of a heatwave in April. In the beginning of the month we had snow, now we're having close to 90 degree weather. One of the best parts of today's excursion was that there was no fee to get into Wallis Sands State Park. I guess they weren't expecting warmer weather until the end of May, when the park officially opens.


We thought that last year was a blast at the beach with Jude. There was no comparison to the fun we had today. Jude was having the time of his life with everything today. He got to experience what fun his new toys were in the sand.....


He discovered how to dig holes and make kiddie pools....

He learned how to fill the holes back up by throwing sand in them......


He was fascinated by the kites flying overhead....


But most of all he was thrilled by running in the cold water while the waves gently rolled in...

New Stylin' Product

WAIT....I've found the perfect solution that you've all been waiting for... For those days that you've run out of styling product and just can't get the look you're going for.... Just grab the nearest jar of peanut butter.
Dab a bit into the palm of your hand and rub your hands together to warm up a bit. Next, pull through to the ends of your hair like so....And when done, you'll have the perfect "Jude Doo".

House Hunting

As many of you may know, Triple J and Ray have been on the quest to buy a new home. With baby #2 coming soon, our rented space is feeling even more cramped. We're keeping our fingers crossed...but we are currently under contract for a house in Newmarket. It's a long process, but if all goes as planned, we'll be in our house end of June. (Jude is trying out a fireplace in another house that we took a look at in the picture above.)

All About Cars

What a boy Jude is becoming. He is crazy about cars. Joel is excited to resurrect all of his sound effects from when he was a young-one. Jude is catching on quickly to all of the noises. Did you know that diesel trucks make a different sound than, say, a van?

Splashin' in the Rain

Come rain or come shine, Jude just has to be outside. Yesterday he discovered what fun puddles can be. I couldn't get him to come inside....even as the rain started to pour, Jude was splashing with glee.

Sunday Afternoon

We took a quick stroll down to our pond. Jude had fun looking for fishies.


Just about every day Jude rides around on his new bike. Thanks Grammy! (Christmas money well spent.)

Once again we attempted to use the bike trailer. Jude enjoyed the ride, but most of it was without his helmet. (Joel only rode around the neighborhood.) Jude's bean is just too small for his helmet.

Playin' Around

With weather as beautiful as it's been in the last few days, we've spent almost every waking moment outside. Yesterday, we took a trip with Andrea and Olivia around the pond at Northwood Meadows. Jack was beside himself with all of the swimming he got to do. Jude was excited about the excursion too.








This morning we hopped in the MV to make our way to Wagon Hill on Great Bay. Jude was so proud that he got to hike right along-side his Daddy. Jack wasted no time making friends with another lab fetching sticks.
