....And off goes the coupe. It needs a car wash after hanging out on the mulch.

Two Little Men in a Tub

Bathing together is getting to be a more regular occurrence. Jude can't bare for Levi to get more attention from his Momma right before bed...and they've both been getting grubbier with this nice weather. Either way, they enjoy each others' company in the tub.

Taking it a Step Further

Gone are the days when Jude was satisfied with categorizing his cars by color. He now is labeling them all by make and some models. His favorite by far is the Volkswagen, Jetta. (A couple honorable mentions include the Viewic, aka Buick... and the Cadiwack, Cadillac.) Come rain or shine, Jude asks after dinner to sit by the road and watch the cars pass by. (At least it's cheap entertainment.)

Mulchie Mother's Day

After being rained out on our Saturday yard work, it was pertinent that we get the job done on Sunday... which just so happened to be Mother's Day. We had a great time spreading 4 yards of mulch around our perennials. Jude was a fantastic help, while Levi kept a watchful eye. It's been fun watching all of our spring flowers come into bloom. Now that the yard is in order, we can pack it up for the next 3 weeks and head to a MI wedding!

Under the Weather

Despite feeling under the weather, we still got to enjoy the weather this weekend. It started with Jude's runny nose, and it ran it's course through our family (sparing Levi). Unfortunately, parents can't call in sick. Parenting is a 24 hour job regardless of how you're feeling, so we made the best of the situation.

Jude found yet another way to play with his coupe. Broken-down or right-side-up... Jude takes it for a spin.




Our attempt at hiking around the pond at Northwood Meadows.... We didn't even make it to the water. Being one of the first hikes of the season, we didn't think to pack in the bug spray. The bugs were so bad we had to make a run for it.... Jack was super bummed!


We had good intentions when bringing Jack to Great Island Commons on Sunday. The beach proved too busy to let him out for a swim. We had a fun time on the playground and on the beach despite Jack not being able to join us.




And the water was NOT warm...



Levi tried out some mango with his mesh teething bag...

Sunday evening we went out for ice cream at the Dover Delight. There was no complaining from Jude... ice cream for dinner, now that's the way to sooth a sore throat.
