Old Dog New Tricks

Once again, I'm playing catch-up with blog posts. As you can see we're out and about and all healthy. It used to be that when we went to the Children's Muesum, Jude would bolt and fly up the ramp to the toddler area. Now, he stays on the main floor, exploring these exhibits.

Making pizza... his favorite kind is pepperoni. Can you tell?

He's starting to show interest in the arts and craft area....some days he can even sit still to finish a whole craft.
Archeological dig... once in a while he'll try on the goggles.
His first love... the Post Office. What will he aspire to be once he grows up? He can literally stay at this exhibit for 30 minutes or more... just delivering mail.

Checking out the submarine. He looks too cute in the captain chair. I'll have to capture that picture another day. (Captain chair not shown in photo.)

Daddy's Beard

Levi loves getting to touch new things. To get the full sensation of Daddy's beard he just had to get his feet involved.

Be My Valentine

It's been a rough week or so at the Hartter house. Jude came down with the nasty "little bug" first, and decided to share it with his little bro. We've been mainly housebound for over a week. Today, Levi and I took a trip to Exeter to see the weekend doctor on duty. Despite all of the congestion and fever, Levi is in the clear. His lungs and ears sounded/looked good. The doc said that he probably won't feel good for the next couple of days. (What's another week of staying home?)

Needless to say, we got to celebrate Valentines Day anyways! Jude and I went to feed the horses some carrots (horses can't eat chocolates). He gave his Daddy some chocolates in a very pretty box.... he had to help himself before it was ok for anyone else to give one a try. Daddy and Jude picked up some flowers and a card for me yesterday. Jude got to make cookies...and yes, there was plenty of sampling.

Levi was in bed most of the day. I managed to get some shots of him a few days ago with his new teddy from Grandma and Papa.

Mom's Little Poser

The camera just loves capturing my little boys. Jude's on the go and tough to catch. Levi, on the other hand, is not so mobile yet. (Let's not wish this on us quite yet...)

What does Jude call roast beef?

Christmas Chaos

After having scheduled our Christmas gathering multiple times, we were finally able to celebrate with the Caswell's. Last Saturday they came down for a visit. We enjoyed having some baked ziti for lunch and jumped right into opening some gifts. The kids were so excited to have new toys to play with that the adults got a chance to sit and chat for a bit.

Levi loved to cuddle up with his Auntie Marsey...

The girls were gearin' up to open some gifts.... They were impressive with all of their patience.

Eleanor got to hold Levi for the first time. Who knows, it may be the last time with the rate that he's growing....
Jude coerced his uncle, cousins, and aunt to read the "Little Bug Book" with him. He gave his cousins a few seconds to locate it before he pointed it out. Gemma and Eleanor had to be quick!

Jud had made some yummy Indian food for dinner. What a way to end our wonderful day... and we loved the leftovers too. Thank-you Caswell's for making the trip and for all of the gifts!

Boston Children's Museum

Friday night we changed it up a bit and took off for a quick trip to Boston. Joining a group of friends at the Children's Museum, we had a wonderful time! Barely scratching the surface of the museum, Jude played until he was clearly showing signs of fatigue. We'll definitely be heading back to check out the many exhibits that we did not get a chance to see. (Friday nights from 5-9 PM the museum is only $1.00)

Music and lights, oh my!

A room full of water activities...
Jude loves playing with Owen....
Levi had a great time watching his brother....
Driving a Bobcat in the construction room....
And of course there were many cars....
Joel was Jude's co-pilot... who better than the geographer to play navigator?
Flying with sound effects....

Arthur's kitchen... a huge hit!

Zoolander Pose

Guessing Game

It's becoming increasingly easier to tell the boys' baby pictures apart. It's remarkable how similar they still look.... I guess they are brothers, so what can you expect? How good are you at telling them apart?

Who's in picture number 1? And who's in picture number 2?

Here are few more pictures of my handsome boys.... (Jude has been commenting lately on how handsome he is. "I'm so handsome," he says. I wonder where he gets it?)
