AnaLeah Joy Hartter

Welcome the newest member of our family, AnaLeah Joy Hartter!

AnaLeah arrived Thursday, January 26th at 8:10 AM. She was 7 lbs 12 ounces and 19 inches long. Vivacious and lively, she came out screaming. AnaLeah hadn't even been pulled fully out of me before she let the whole world know that she had arrived. Healthy Apgar scores of 9/9, we're blessed to have 3 healthy kids. Already, AnaLeah has proven to be a Joy to us all!

Joel and Ray... our last moment of a couple with 2 boys....
Both feeling a bit queasy (for different reasons) we're thrilled to be greeting our baby girl for the first time!

AnaLeah wasn't so excited to get her first bath...

Once her hair dryed, it was apparent that she had inherited Daddy's dark spiky hair.

Levi and Jude were very excited to meet their new baby sister. Jude wasn't happy about her name. We all agreed that he could continue to call her "Little Lady." His pet name for her will not be her only nickname. Levi has a tough time saying his "L's" so he either calls her Ana or Baby. (Always in a high pitched voice...he's very sweet with her.) Papa Hartter will most likely call her Annie (as he has always liked that name). Joel has already been shortening her name to Ana, a name he's always loved. We haven't ruled out using her initials...AJ, in case she is a bit of a tom-boy.

The boys are ticklin' her little toes....

Grandma is excited to hold her granddaughter for the first time....

Nap time...so precious!
My sister Marsey made the trip down from Maine to meet her newest niece. You can check out some of the pictures she took while keeping me company. Here is her blog: www.girlwind.blogspot.com (Joel sneaked out for a much needed run around Exeter.)

Home sweet home....
